Collier County: Property Values Hit New Record High

Reported today in the Naples Daily News is the preliminary assessment from the Collier County Property Appraiser.
- Total value of all land for 2016 was $108.6 billion, 6.5% increase year-over-year.Previous high was $107 billion in 2007
- Largest gains in East Naples. Golden Gate, Golden Gate Estates, and Immokalee from 14% to 15%
- Naples: $21.6 billion, up 7.2%
- Marco Island: just under $10.0 billion, up 6.4%
- Everglades City: Up 3.4%
The price of Paradise in southwest Florida, Collier County, climbs – moving beyond reach for some buyers. This fuels the trend for buyers looking further north to Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, and completely out of the region.
