Bonita-Estero shows similar trends in overall volume, 2016 showed a higher demand for single-family homes while 2017 shows preference similar to earlier years.

INVENTORY
The absorption rate is a metric that indicates how fast properties are being purchased as it relates to how fast new properties are offered for sale. Six month is said to be a balanced market – i.e. In theory,if no new properties are added to the market all the inventory would be sold within six months. When sales slow down while new properties are added it takes longer to sell any given home. 2015 shows a very low number below four and the inventory in 2015 was the lowest since 2011 (plotted) but even earlier than that.
